Our Completed Projects150 State Road, West Tisbury This one-acre parcel was purchased from the Estate if George Schiffer in 2005 at a significant discount. The Estate wanted to see the property used for two Island families who would love Vineyard Haven as much as Mr. Schiffer did. One of the buildings was part of our "House Moves" donation program which allowed for two additional condominium units for a total of four units on the property. We marked the completion of 150 State Road with a community Open House among the plantings and stonewalls the Mr. Schiffer left for a new generation to enjoy. The Trust sold the four condos and ground lease the land to households earning 80%, 100% 120% and 140% or less of the median income. Grants from the Island Affordable Housing Fund and the Town of Tisbury Community Preservation Act (CPA) helped fund the land purchase and construction costs.
