Our Partners Dukes County Regional Housing Authority The DCRHA is a public housing authority serving the Vineyard and Cuttyhunk. Its purpose is to provide and facilitate the development of affordable, quality, year-round housing for residents of Dukes County. A priority of the RHA is to address the housing needs of residents with low and moderate incomes. Executive Director, David Vigneault, (508) 693-4419 or visit their web page. How we work together: The IAHF raises a significant portion of the funds for the Rental Assistance Program managed by the DCRHA, and helps fund other programs such as the Homebuyers Workshops. Island Housing Trust The Island Housing Trust (IHT) works to maintain the character, vibrancy and diversity of the six towns on the Island of Martha's Vineyard by acquiring land and creating permanently affordable homes. The Trust aims to bridge the gap between the island's increasingly high property values and the families and individuals who live and work here earning low and moderate incomes - people who are vital to our well-being and to our community's future. Founded in 2001, IHT is a community based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working in partnership with the island's six towns, existing housing organizations, and its member homeowners and renters. Executive Director, Philippe Jordi, (508) 693-1117 or visit www.ihtmv.org. How we work together: Born from the realization that we were growing so fast that we needed to be the fund raiser and someone else needed to be the builder, the Island Housing Trust was formed to partner with us, creating a team that funds and builds seamlessly. After the sawdust clears on an affordable housing project, the Island Housing Trust retains ownership of the land underneath to keep it affordable forever.
